Apparently I've started watching entirely too many films. When I sit alone or drive, I find my thoughts wafting around my head in cinematic medium. Sometimes 30 minutes scenarios with soundscores and everything. Sometimes real events. Sometimes not.
My new place to hang out late at night after practicing is Schoen Place in Pittsford. A small commercial strip along the Erie Canal, it's remarkably peaceful. Because it's a street, technically, and not a park, there are no hours. Regularly policed, it's safe at all hours of the night. My pipe and I find it one of my top 5 spots in Rochester.
