Marching Bands Of Manhattan

And span the length of the isle of Manhattan,

I'm considering a blog that is soley music...or perhaps a way to post a brief musical segment on here. Soemtimes words are too annoying to describe something and it'd be easier to lay down a rough track to better adapt emotion to internet. Comment if you might have some ideas.

I'm not going to lie, I'm having a hard time keeping up with this particular blog. Partly because my life flies by at a ridiculous pace and suddenly I realize I haven't posted in weeks. Partly because I get 1,000 hits per day on my other one and only about 8 here.

On top of that, I have 3 fiction blogs and a podcast. Two of which are going to be screenplays.

Work was interesting as always and I finally feel as though I'm sinking into the routines of a regular server and am leaving Newbie status. It takes a while to understand the customer's perspective and how exactly to give that to them. I hated to admit it, but it took some time for me to hit the right groove and not micromanage everything all at once. The result: higher tips.

Mr Brendan Giusti and I shall be venturing into the work of Rochester Jazz, looking to book a regular gig in town. It would be nice to actually make some cash with music. Hopefully we'll find out if the money is worth it on Saturday.

In the mix, so many weddings and trips coming up, I'm trying to keep them straight.

It's going to be a packed summer. And with all this going on, keep an eye out for a recital by me in August. Grad school is shortly around the corner and I am preparing audition repetoire now.

I've been blogging for 2 years now.

This blog has been visited 15,609 times in those 2 years, by readers in 16 countries.

I've blogged professionally, and recreationally for a grand total of 13 different blogs, some personal, some humorous, some forums, some screenplays, some practical jokes.

My most-often-read is a humorous blog getting around 1200 hits daily.

So why the obsession? I get the writing itch regularly and letting it out is quite the satisfying escapade. I would write even if people didn't read it, simply because I enjoy it.

I used to blog about everything, so here goes:

I just got done with a performance of Bellini's Norma, singing chorus.

I received the new Mac I'm on now for Christmas/Birthday (which was last Thursday).

I use the new Mac to record new and old tunes of mine via Garageband.

I play open mic nights in and around Rochester regularly, mostly Bodhi's or Boulder. Friday, Feb. 16th, Brad, Tommy, and I will be playing at Bodhi's , beginning @ 8:30pm. Dan Ball is playing from 8-8:30.

My brother just turned 21. We chilled at the Toad for hours.

I'm becoming a cigar afficianado.

I'm presently drinking Diet Dew, watching Scrubs (my new obsession), and chatting with Romy.

Next, I'll be developing a new webpage design.
